Sniffing my bloody hands,
hugging my legs,
licking my aloof face-
he danced on my clever feet.
His eyes like a lone lover,
making vague noises.
And his four legs
worship my existence.
I killed a boy today.
And this guy loves me.
Unconditional.
we need companions-
even in our cruelty.
